The Portuguese has shared that he isn’t friends with Lionel Messi but still very cool with the Argentine as he reflects on his partner coming from same country.
Ronaldo didn’t forget to mention about the only player who has shared same stage with him over the past 16 years as he applauded the Argentine.
According to Ronaldo, despite not being in steady communication with Lionel Messi, he still sees the former Barcelona star as a teammate even without playing in the same team with him yet.

“I’m not a friend of him [Messi] in terms of, what I mean friend is the guy who was with you in your house, speaking on the phone, no, but it’s like a teammate. He’s a guy that I really respect the way he always speak about me.
“What I am going to say about Messi? A great guy who does great things for football.”
