Sergio Perez: There is no envy between me and Verstappen,

In the past, I have sometimes encountered envy between teammates. You want to win, of course, but when your teammate wins you have to give him some credit. It means that he performed better than you. He won and you need to accept and in a sense be proud of the team’s result. Proud of what your teammate did.

I think very few people can accept that. However, between me and Max, when he or I win…I don’t know, we are just proud of each other’s successes, it’s a good feature of our working relationship, said Perez.
