Willian has opened up on his last day at Arsenal. He also shared his opinion on the club manager Mikel Arteta.
Former Chelsea man signed a three-year deal and joined the Gunners back in 2020. Things didn’t go well for the attacker, and he decided to terminate his contract after spending one campaign at the Emirates Stadium.
“On my last day there, I spoke with Mikel Arteta. I thanked him a lot for what he had done for me, for bringing me to Arsenal,” Willian told The Ahtletic.
Speaking about the Gunners’ boss Arteta, he added: “He is a good manager and I have great respect for Arsenal. They are doing well, they can achieve good things this season.”
