Tottenham to win

While Spurs have been inconsistent of late with three wins and three defeats in their last six matches, their wins have been impressive as they’ve defeated leaders Manchester City and then beaten Leeds and Everton by scores of 4-0 and 5-0 respectively.

Brighton have recorded five straight losses while only scoring one goal in that span and also have the worst home record apart from the bottom three.

Preliminary review and match prediction for Brighton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Despite five straight losses you would imagine Brighton have done enough to ensure Premier League safety for another season. However, this current freefall the Seagulls are on will be a concern for boss, Graham Potter.

Brighton have not lost five straight since April 2007 when they were a League One side.

The Seagulls have earned most of their points away from home this season and have not won a league game at AMEX Stadium since September.

With just one goal scored and 11 conceded in their last five matches, free scoring Spurs will be up for exploiting Brighton as they did Everton and Leeds in their last victories.

After coming back from a goal down twice away to Manchester United on Saturday, Spurs succumbed to a Cristiano Ronaldo 81st minute winner to complete his hat-trick.
