We can’t see something extraordinary from Carla Suarez Navarro for now. She won two games, but just by a narrow margin. Both two sets against Viktoria Golubic were hard and one set against Maria Sakkari was even lost. It was really hard for Carla Suarez Navarro and we see that she’s not at her top form.
But I don’t suggest to bet on Elizaveta Kulichkova as well. She won her two starting matches but was tired a lot. Two nice wins against Andrea Petkovic and Monica Niculescu were bright. It can bring confidence to Kulichkova, but she also can be nervous. She has no high-level consistency. And we don’t know if she has enough power and experience to win her third match. Anyway, Kulichkova should bring some problems to Suarez Navarro. Only unforced errors can set her back. But Suarez Navarro is not flawless. We can go for over 20 games in this match.
