Danka Kovinic vs Victoria Azarenka. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
Danka Kovinic confidently won in the first round against Samantha Crawford. It’s a good victory for her. But it says absolutely nothing on the eve of the match with Victoria Azarenka. She is a completely different level of opponent that cannot be compared either to Crawford, or Kovinic herself. Azarenka just smashed Belgian Alison van Uytvank in the first round. Victoria didn’t lose a single game, which is very rare. Perhaps many of her competitors are facing the same fate, at least in the opening rounds. Azarenka is ready for the season and I have said that I think she is the main favourite, despite Serena Williams is in her part of the draw.
In my opinion, there will be under 16 games in the match. You can’t be envious about Kovinic.
