This League Two match sees already-promoted Doncaster Rovers take on playoff chasing Blackpool in what should be an interesting match-up.

Doncaster have already clinched promotion back to League One but will be keen to ensure that they claim the title to make it the perfect season.

As you would expect from a Darren Ferguson side, Doncaster very much thrive on the attacking side of the game and have scored an incredible 82 goals in 42 matches. Additionally, they have found the back of the net 14 times in their last six matches. Unfortunately though, this rather gung-ho style means they do leak a few goals at the back and they only have the sixth-best defensive record in the division.

Home form has been excellent for Donny this campaign and they have the best home record in the league with 48 points taken from 21 games, losing one of their last 11 at the Keepmoat Stadium in all competitions.

Blackpool are having a bit of bad time at the moment with no wins in the last three. However, they are still only two points off the play-offs with a much better goal difference than Carlisle United in 7th.

As opposed to Doncaster, the Tangerines make sure they have a solid base before focusing on the attack and their record of 44 conceded in 42 is the fourth-best in the division. Although their goal-scoring record of 62 is admirable, they have dried up a bit in the last few matches with just two goals in their last three matches.

Gary Bowyer’s men lost their last away match at Luton Town but, prior to that, they had not lost in their previous four away games, scoring eight times.

Although Doncaster have already won promotion, they will want to ensure they take the title and I expect them to take advantage of Blackpool’s poor form at the moment, scoring a couple of goals in the process. The hosts have scored at least twice in 65% of their home wins this season. With this in mind, ‘Doncaster Rovers to Win & Over 1.5 Goals’ is the bet to go for at 11/8.
