Georgia vs Kosovo predictions for this World Cup Qualification clash on Thursday at Batumi Stadium. The Georgians and the Kosovars meet this week in a match between two teams who are serious underdogs for the top two places in the group, but who will be able to take all three points? Read on for our free predictions and betting tips.
Georgia
The Georgians have already played three matches out of the total of eight in this group (Group of five teams), resulting in a draw with Greece, and two defeats, to Spain and Sweden.
Despite being a relatively unknown team in terms of domestic football, the Georgians do not have a bad team at all; most of their players play in the Russian league, and their star player is the young Kvicha Kvaratskhelia of Rubin Kazan.
This match will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
Kosovo
Kosovo began World Cup qualifying with two defeats, against arguably the two strongest teams in the group, Spain and Sweden.
Despite Kosovo’s youth as a team – their first official match was in 2016 – the Kosovo national team, through nationalising players from the Balkan area with Kosovar origins, are gradually forming an interesting team that, in the longer term, will surely be much stronger.
Probably the best player for Kosovo is Norwich City striker Milot Rashica.

Georgia vs Kosovo Predictions
On paper it appears to be a fairly even match, as we don’t see a big difference in quality between the two teams. However, Georgia are a more mature team with a group of players who know each other well, and have been playing together for many years. In contrast, Kosovo are still establishing their squad. In addition, the match is played in Georgia, which is a plus for the home side. Therefore, we think Georgia are favourites to take all three points.
