Hull City – Arsenal. Editors’ prediction
Arsenal fielded some reserve players in the first leg against Hull City (0:0) like Callum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny and Alex Iwobi. David Ospina was in goal and today there’s no other choice, because Petr Cech is injured. Arsen Wenger always gives a chance for the reserves in the FA Cup, but today he needs to win by all means.
Ospina got just six games for Arsenal this season. Maybe he is good enough to stop Hull’s attack, but who knows. A huge blow for Wenger is the absence of Laurent Koscielny who is essential for Arsenal.
Hull City are now fighting for promotion in the Championship, but they have some problems with scoring goals. Just one goal in their last four league games – it’s not the result that Steve Bruce is waiting for. But English teams from the lower leagues always transform from David to Goliath in the FA Cup. That’s why Hull City will fight till the last moment to stand against Arsenal.
Arsenal will score for sure having Alexis Sanchez or Theo Walcott in hand. And we also expect the home team to score in front of their fans. Moreover, the winner will show himself after FT, and both teams have scoring chances in the second half. That’s why we can back both teams to score and total match goals over 2.5 here.
