Italy will be without Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Claudio Marchisio and Marco Verratti for both their friendlies, which all represent big blows, but I still don’t think they’ll come unstuck against Spain.
Going on the basis that these friendlies are opportunities to explore options ahead of Euro 2016, and for teams to regroup, I would be inclined to go for a draw. Moreover, the Azzurri have only lost twice in 16 games under Antonio Conte and boast a strong home record.
All things being equal, a draw’s available at 3.10 with William Hill.
