Sunday lunchtime’s Scottish Premiership match sees two teams in relatively decent form go head-to-head although there is only going to be one outcome here.

Kilmarnock have not lost in their last three matches, however, too many draws means that they currently sit 6th in the table and are now nine points off the top five. They had progressed since former Birmingham City manager Lee Clark came in a year ago but he has now gone to join English League One side Bury.

The final third has been a massive problem for Killie this season and they are currently the lowest scorers in the Scottish Premiership with just 21 goals in 24 games which means that they, as previously mentioned, draw far too many games.

Killie’s home record is pretty abysmal this season with just 13 points taken from 11 games. However, this is somehow not the worst record in the league and in fact there are four teams worse on home soil than Kilmarnock.

Aberdeen’s last match was an absolute roller-coaster and ended in a 7-2 victory for the Dons to continue a fantastic run which now reads six wins in seven league matches. However, they do of course still remain the league’s second-best team behind Celtic.

Derek McInnes’ men have been good at both ends of the pitch with 47 goals scored and just 22 conceded in 24 league matches. Furthermore, until their recent match against Motherwell, the Dons had kept clean sheets in three out of their previous four league matches.

As opposed to Kilmarnock’s poor home form, Aberdeen have been decent at home and taken 19 points from 12 games at Pittodrie. Additionally, they have not lost at home since 29th October 2016.

The away side are obviously the hot favourites here and sticking with them should pay. ‘Aberdeen to Win to Nil’ is the best bet at 13/10, especially since Kilmarnock’s lacklustre attack isn’t likely to cause too many problems for The Dons.
