It was a great win against Manchester City. Liverpool showed real flexibility there. No recognized centre forwards, but Liverpool didn’t even need them – Coutinho and Firmino finally showed what they can do together being everywhere in the final third – it was like watching two Brazilian boys playing against some big English tourists on Copacabana.

Liverpool showed such good collective movement, the whole team was pressing hard and defending and it really looked like Dortmund when Jurgen Klopp was their manager.

So Liverpool are improving playing as a team, Liverpool are improving psychologically, and Liverpool are improving in front of goal which was a real issue some time ago.

Now a game against Bordeaux, where a win will see Liverpool through to the playoffs. Well, it’s at Anfield, it’s a European night, and I hope the fans will finally be loud after such an impressive performance in Manchester. No matter what team Klopp picks I’m sure they’ll give it all to impress, they’ll be flying and do all to get three points. As for Bordeaux, they’re in poor form. They have only 4 wins after 14 league games, only two teams have conceded more goals than them in Ligue 1, so in other words they’ve got enough problems for a trip to Anfield at this very moment.

That’s why I choose Liverpool with -1 Asian handicap for 1.80 at William Hill. I believe Liverpool will win comfortably here. But if it’s by just one goal, it’ll be a refund.
