Man City v Swansea Betting Tips: Citizens can put in another impressive performance
After showcasing some real attacking dominance in recent weeks, Man City play host to a rejuvenated Swansea City at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
Swansea have looked great in their last two matches in which they picked up victories against Liverpool and Southampton to finally move out of the relegation zone. What was also impressive was that The Swans showed that they can adapt their game from counter-attacking football, as they did at Liverpool, to their more traditional possession-based game which saw them come out on top against Southampton.
All of this indicates that this particular patient is more than alive and will continue their recovery in the future. Most of their next six matches are winnable but, unfortunately for them, this match at The Etihad is not one of them.
Manchester City have finally recorded a couple of back-to-back victories by beating Crystal Palace 3-0 in the FA Cup before thrashing West Ham United 4-0 in the league. We will probably not see manager Pep Guardiola fully implement his philosophy at City for a while but we can certainly notice new signing Gabriel Jesus who has come in and hit the ground running.
City are once again looking menacing in the forward areas and really could cause Swansea some problems here. Despite their improvements of late, the visitors are very much fancied to struggle against a home team who’ve scored seven goals without reply in their last two fixtures.
Backing City -2 on the handicap looks a good bet ahead of this match and Guardiola’s men can continue flourish in attack.
