Manchester City – Everton. Laure James’ prediction
Everton picked up an unlikely 2-1 first-leg advantage over Manchester City, but will be without two key players in the semi-final second-leg, as midfielder Muhamed Besic (hamstring) and winger, Kevin Mirallas, (tendon) are both out injured.
Nevertheless, Toffees fans will already be dreaming of what could be a Merseyside showdown at Wembley, in a final they’ve not reached since 1984.
It’s a more recent memory for City, having won the cup in 2014, but this season has been hit and miss. The major factor will be home advantage, along with Sergio Aguero to dig them out of a hole.
William Hill is offering both teams to score and Manchester City to win for 2.75.
