Spain didn’t field their best eleven in Italy. Italy played better, and De Gea saved the team several times.
The next match for them will be again on the road.
Romania are preparing for the Euros, and have just beat modest Lithuania with a minimal score in a friendly game. They have no such stars, which they had in the past, but the team gives the result. But let’s face it, they are lucky to have had a group without the top teams.
But the class of Spanish players is superior, even if Vicente del Bosque experiments with the squad. Therefore, I’m backing Spain’s win. It may be 1-0, like they had in the away matches in the qualifiers, but still a win.
