Shamrock Rovers vs Sparta Prague Prediction
We predict Sparta Prague to win 2-1. Shamrock Rovers are yet to show consistency in the UCL Qualification stage, as their first leg against Vikingur Reykjavik ended in a goalless draw. However, they bounced back in the second leg to win the game 2-1. Following their 1-0 defeat in their last game to Bohemian FC on Friday, the Rovers are likely to struggle in their next match. Sparta Prague have not been defeated in their last fourteen games in all competitions. Having won their League title last season with 24 wins in 30 games, Prague stands a better chance of defeating Rovers at the Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday.
Sparta Prague have scored at least two goals against every team they faced in their last five matches. Rovers on the other hand have scored four and conceded five goals against their last five opponents. Nevertheless, their backline is great but not solid enough to stop Prague from finding the back of the net. We predict both teams to score as it will be a tight game.
Match Preview: Shamrock Rovers vs Sparta Prague
Shamrock Rovers are in the 6th position with 9 wins in their last 23 Premier Division games in Ireland. Stephen Bradley’s team lost 1-0 to Bohemian FC in round 2 of the FAI Cup on Friday, July 19 at Dalymount Park. Having said that, the Irish club will have to work on their tactics as they prepare tp face Prague in the UCL Qualification on Tuesday.
Sparta Prague are big on scoring goals as they have netted 11 goals in their last five games. However, they have taken over the first position in the 1st League following a 2-1 win over Pardubice. Lars Friis’s side are set to challenge Bradley’s team to qualify in the UCL on Tuesday at the Tallaght Stadium.
