Ural, like so many Russian Premier League sides this season, have nothing to play for whilst their opponents Kuban Krasnodar go into the game looking to win the right to once again play in the top flight next season.
As expected, given their guaranteed place in midtable mediocrity this season, Ural have hit a bad patch of form recently and have not won since 2nd April. I highly doubt that they will pick themselves up for this game and they would rather come through the match unscathed.
Kuban on the other hand have taken maximum points from their last two games in solid 1-0 wins against Lokomotiv and Dinamo Moscow respectively. They currently sit in 12th place so are outside of the relegation playoff places (surprising given their chaotic off field problems this season) and I think they will look to be conservative in this match, especially in the first half, while they weigh up how results elsewhere influence their position in the league.
With this in mind I think the first half will end in a draw.
