Borussia Dortmund have agreed personal terms with PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen as the German giants potentially begin to prepare for life without superstar forward Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian wonderkid is attracting plenty of interest from Europe's giants and is expected to leave the club either this summer or the next, when a tantalising release clause will become active in the 20-year-old's contract.

Dortmund could well have already found Haaland's replacement, after Ronan Murphy revealed that they have agreed personal terms with PSV striker Malen over a possible transfer this summer.
The deal is yet to be finalised however, as the two clubs are still negotiating over the fee required for the 22-year-old. Dortmund have offered €25m, but PSV are holding out for €30m for the Netherlands international.
This deal could be a signal that Der BVB are beginning to lay the foundations for life without superstar Haaland, who looks destined to leave the club, if not this summer, then the next. A queue of Europe's heavyweights are looking to sign the Dortmund star, although most are inclined to wait until a release clause of around €75m becomes active next summer.
However, Chelsea are prepared to spark a bidding war in this window and force any other team interested in signing Haaland to stump up the cash. Blues owner Abramovich has even set aside the funds needed to sign the goal machine and he sees the Norway international as the main priority for the summer.
With so much pressure mounting on Dortmund, they seem destined to lose another of their superstars in the near future, with the transfer of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United all but confirmed.

In Malen, they have identified their next goalscorer, having previously enquired over the availability of his PSV teammate Noni Madueke - a deal they are now not willing to pursue.
Malen impressed during Netherlands' Euro 2020 campaign, striking up an exciting partnership with Memphis Depay in attack. Their journey came to an end when they were knocked out by the Czech Republic in the round of 16.
