BORUSSIA DORTMUND - Favre: "My words have been misinterpreted"

Published on: 27 May 2020

After the sentences that hinted a farewell at the end of the season, Lucien Favre has spoken about it: "My words have been misinterpreted. What I wanted to say was that it is not the moment to make considerations about the season. We have 6 matches to play yet, and we must give our best and we have to win".
Rumors already suggest the names of possible successors: Kovac and Nagelsmann, but Dortmund CEO, Joachim Watzke says, Favre is safe in his job despite Bayern loss.

"At the moment there is no reason for a coach discussion, we are playing a very, very good second half to the season. Until Tuesday, we had got 27 of a maximum 30 points".
