Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic has held talks with newly promoted Premier League side Middlesbrough, according to Sky Sports.
Serbia international has been given permission to travel to Teesside, and he was shown around the club's facilities on Thursday.
Subotic would cost Middlesbrough in the region of £8m.
Sky Sports also report that Sunderland are interested in the 27-year-old, but he isn't currently a priority for Sam Allardyce.
