Botswana name final 23-man squad for AFCON

Ghana's Group D opponents Botswana have named their final 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The list includes six South African-based players and an unattached striker.

Despite not having played any club football for the past 6 months due to a contract dispute with Santos, striker Jerome Ramatlhakwane has also been included.

The South African based players in the Zebras squad are, Phenyo Mongalo (Bloemfontein Celtic), Dipsey Selolwane, Mogogi Gabonamong (both SuperSport United), Boitumelo Mafoka (Santos), Madiri Marumo and Moemedi Moatlhaping (both Bay United).

Ghana play the Zebras in the Group opener on 24 Janaury in Franceville.

Goalkeepers: Modiri Marumo (Bay United, South Africa), Noah Maposa (Gaborone United), Kabelo Dambe (Rollers)

Defenders: Mompathi Thuma (BDF XI), Ndiyapo Letsholathebe (Police XI), Musa Ohilwe (Gaborone United), Mosimanegape Ramohibidu (BMC), Monametsi Kelebale (NICO), Tshepo Motlhabankwe (Mochudi Centre Chiefs)
