Bottom clubs wins; AshGold move to second

Berekum Arsenals beat newly crowned champions and cross-town rivals Chelsea 4-3 at Golden City Park to move from the drop; AshantiGold drew to go second.

Emmanuel Clottey maintained his hunt for the goal king crown by scoring the opener for Chelsea with a header before Stephen Amankwah equalized from the spot.

Amankwah grabbed a double by converting another penalty kick.

Striker Nana Poku also grabbed a brace to make it 4-1 but it was Clottey who stole the show by scoring a hat-trick.

Once again, Douglas Nkrumah was the saviour for Hearts of Oak as his first half goal sealed a 1-0 win over dethroned champions Aduana Stars in Accra.

King Faisal beat New Edubiase United 3-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium to pull from the relegation zone.
