Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Juan Manuel Iturbe; with the Roma winger now set to move to the South Coast.

The Argentina and Paraguay youth international had previously visited Watford and underwent a medical at Vicarage Road but the Hornets withdrew their interest in response to the approach made from Dean Court.

According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth are on course to sign Iturbe on loan for the remainder of the season after the Cherries offered more money.

The 22-year-old is expected to move initially for a fee of €1.5 million while the Cherries will also reserve the option to make the deal permanent for €22m.

The player left the option of a return to Roma open in a letter penned to the fans as he hopes to find some form out on loan although the club would also be ready to cash in.

Iturbe has made 13 appearances in Serie A for the Giallorossi during the 2015-16 season with nine of them coming from bench and he has scored one goal.
