Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has praised Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo for his tactical awareness and impressive performance in the Cherries' 2-0 FA Cup victory over Everton.

Semenyo scored from the spot and put in a dominant display, earning him the man of the match award.

"Antoine [Semenyo] is in a lovely moment, he is full of confidence, his finishing, both legs even today [against Everton] he over the line defensively," Iraola said.

"I think he is associating very well with Milos [Kerkez] in that left side and I am happy and I know we will try to keep him there."

Semenyo's tactical awareness was on display as he won and converted a penalty in the 22nd minute, and also made six clearances, won six ground duels, and registered two tackles.

Iraola's praise suggests that Semenyo's tactical awareness and versatility are valuable assets to the team.
