Bournemouth want Crystal Palace striker Gayle

Published on: 27 November 2015

Bournemouth are hoping they can sign Dwight Gayle from Crystal Palace this winter. The Cherries are desperate to bolster their attacking stocks following the six-month knee injury sustained by Callum Wilson in September.

According to the Daily Mirror, Bournemouth are pondering a £6million offer for 26-year-old Gayle who has started just four times in the Premier League for Alan Pardew this season.

Gayle was close to joining Bristol City in the summer and could be given permission to leave Selhurst Park in January as Pardew looks to returning duo Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh as his answers in attack.
