Brandon Thomas-Asante has expressed his eagerness to showcase his skills at Coventry City after completing his move from West Bromwich Albion.

The 25-year-old striker and winger has signed a four-year contract with the Sky Blues for an undisclosed fee.

In an interview with Coventry City media, Thomas-Asante shared his excitement about joining the club:

"I can't wait to see the fans and show them what is to come. I've seen the stadium just now and I can't wait to see it bouncing. I want to make sure that this is a season to remember."

Thomas-Asante began his professional journey at Milton Keynes Dons, making his debut in 2016 at the age of 17. Following loan spells with Sutton United and Oxford City, he moved on from Milton Keynes in 2019 after making 35 appearances. A brief period at Ebsfleet United was followed by a successful stint at Salford City in League Two, where he made 126 appearances, scored 30 goals, and won the EFL Trophy.

His standout performances at Salford earned him a move to West Bromwich Albion at the start of the 2022/23 season.

Thomas-Asante joined West Brom on a three-year deal for a reported fee of around £300,000, turning down a move to Birmingham City. Over his time at the Hawthorns, he made 78 appearances and netted 21 goals.

Now, Thomas-Asante is set to bring his proven goal-scoring ability to Coventry City, adding depth to the Sky Blues' attacking options. He will wear the number 23 shirt at his new club, and fans are eagerly anticipating his impact on the team’s performance this season.
