Brazilian powerhouse Vasco da Gama are in advanced talks to sign Los Angeles Football Club forward Latif Blessing, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

The 23-year-old has drawn the attention of the South American outfit after an explosive time in the Major Soccer League.

The talented Ghanaian is being courted to move to Brazil, at least for an initial loan deal amid uncertainty surrounding his long-term future.

Blessing is reported to be unsettled in the United States as his wife is yet to get a traveling visa to enter the powerful country.

The traveling difficult being encountered by his wife may force him to move to Brazil, it has been claimed.

Latif started his career in Ghana and was elected the best player in the national league in 2016.

In the same year, he was the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League  with 17 goals.

In 2017 he moved to Kansas City and the following season he moved to Los Angeles FC.

In all, since his first season as a professional in the United States in 2017, he has played 103 games in the MLS.

Last season he mastered 34 matches, 29 of them as a starter. He scored five goals and made six assists.

In 2017 he joined Ghana’s pre-list for the African Cup of Nations, but was left out of the final call.
