Asante Kotoko retain Ghana Premier League title with Amidaus win
Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defended their Ghana Premier League title after beating Amidaus Professionals 1-0 at the Tema Park on Sunday on the final day.

Kotoko's second successive title was aided by Berekum Chelsea's 2-1 defeat at Heart of Lions who have escaped relegation.

Striker Siedu Bancey scored in 70th minute to ensure the Porcupine Warriors won their 22nd league silverware.

Kotoko can win the double if the beat Medeama SC in the final of the MTN Ghana FA Cup final next month in Accra.

This is good news for the faithful and loyal supporters and fans of the great club, Kumasi Kotoko. Congratulations!!! to the playing body, technical men and the management team. Thanks be to the Almighty God for his blessings for this wonderful victory. I want to tell the management, the technical team and the players that, almost all the supporters go on our knees to pray fervently and relentlessly for them anytime they are playing a match. Some also use all source of resource to back them to win matches. Due to the 8hours time difference between China and Ghana, I have to stay up sometimes till 2am, just to listen to commentary on Kotoko's matches and get up at 5am to prepare and go to work. When they win, I don't feel tired the following day. So I hope they would put in more efforts to win many games and curtail the many draws we saw in the just ended season to put smiles and energy in the teaming supporters. God bless Kotoko and all.

Why cant you just give credit where it is due and rather hate everything good about the team. Ask your self the number of times kotoko has struggle during this season..
