Ashantigold Chief Executive Fredrick Acheampong has resigned, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The affable football administrator will officially step down from his role on April 30, 2020.
His resignation comes after a tide of criticism from a section of the club's supporters over his multiple role in football administration.
The Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association spent two years at the club and supervised their journey in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The reasons for his resignation is yet to be known, but Fredrick Acheampong thanked the club for the opportunity, labeling his journey with the miners as the end of a 'golden era'.

Acheampong has seen a rapid rise in his career becoming and Executive committee member of the Ghana Football Association and an assistant General Coordinator for the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
