Struggling AshantiGold have ordered Croatian tactician Zdravko Logarusic to step aside ahead of the club's clash with Berekum Arsenal on Sunday, GHANAsoccernet can exclusively reveal.

AshGold, last season's runners up, have had indifferent run this term having won just two matches out 10 matches.

Logarusic exclusively told GHANAsoccernet: "I won’t be travelling with the team for our match this Sunday because the management has asked me to step aside for some time.

"For now I think it will be Yaw Acheampong who will take over but am still around in Ghana and hopefully I'll see what happens by at least Monday either to fly out or not.”

"Tuesday will be the final day we'll decide on officially what to do so that will be it all," he added.

GHANAsoccernet investigations have revealed several top clubs in Ghana have contacted him while at post with the Obuasi-based club.

Logarusic managed King Faisal two seasons ago before returning from Croatia to take over the AshantiGold job last season.
