Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has left out Sulley Muntari in his starting line-up for Sunday's crucial African Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on Sunday.

GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal that the Serbian boss handed Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu a place in his starting line-up for the game at the Alphonse Massamba Debat Stadium.

The Udinese man has struggled for playing time but impressed the Serb in training and will step-in for injured Kevin-Prince Boateng.

He was a second half substitute in last month's friendly against Togo and gets the nod ahead of Greece-based Bernard Kumordzi.

Muntari will start from the bench after failing to fully win the fitness battle over a calf injury.

Partizan Belgrade duo Prince Tagoe and Dominic Adiyiah will lead Ghana's attack.

Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei, Daniel Opare, Nathaniel Asamoah, Emmanuel Clottey and suspended Asamoah Gyan will be in the stands.

The match will start at 14:00 GMT.

Ghana's starting line-up:

Richard Kingson-John Paintsil, David Addy, John Mensah, Isaac Vorsah-Anthony Annan, Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu, Andre Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah-Dominic Adiyiah, Prince Tagoe

Subs: Ernest Sowah, Samuel Inkoom, Bernard Kumordzi, Lee Addy, Derek Boateng, Jonathan Mensah, Sulley Muntari.
