People are calling for Sellas Tetteh....but please go back and watch our U20 matches and see the sort of cheap goals we condeded ...although we won the cup our defesive play was just like a "normal" ghanaian defense...always allowing cheap goals to enter our net. since the arrival of Milo how many of such goals have we conceded...please be honest....I can only count two matches where that happened..on the average we never conceded more than one gooal in a match......

GHANA WILL SMILE IN 2014 SHOULD WE QUALIFY.THERE ARE A CROP OF YOUNG PLAYERS KNOCKING AT THE DOOR OF THE NATIONAL TEAM.I ONLY HOPE THAT BOBOVICH SHOULD BE CONTACTED TO RESIGN FROM RWANDA AND GIVEN THE OLYMPIC TEAM WITH NUCLEAUS BEING 2009 U20 CHAMPS TO HANDLE.BLACK STARS ONLY NEED SOME FEW CHANGES,OLELE,,APPIAH,SARPEI AND AMOAH NEED TO RETIRE FROM INT FOOTBALL.JOHN MENSAH WILL BE OUT FOR ONE YEAR TO TAKE CARE OF HIS BACK PBLEMS.NEW CAPITO IS ESSIEN,DEPUTY IS PAINTSIL AND MUNTARI IN THAT ORDER.GHANA HAS NOW ACCEPTED THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE NEW FOOTBALL TACTICS;4-2-3-1 WITH AN ADDITIONAL STRIKER AS A RIGHT WINGER HENCE IF MILO DOES NOT STAY AND LEAVES ON HIS ON WILL THEN WE CAN GO IN FOR ANOTHER TACTICALLY SOUND SERBIAN OR SOMEONE CAST IN THE PERSON OF JOACHIM LOEW THE GERMAN COACH WHO BELIEVES IN THE ABOVE TACTICS WITH DIFFERENT VARIATION.BRADEZ,BELIEVE ME,WITH GOOD ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE BLACKSTARS GHANA WILL VERY SOON START REAPING THE FRUITS.WE DONT NEED INDIVIDUAL STARS BUT A TEAM AND THAT IS WHAT THE BLACK STARS ARE JUST LIKE THE GERMANS.ASAMOAH GYAN,I BELIEVE HAS LEARNT A BIG LESSON IN LIFE THAT HUMILITY PAYS AND NOT SELFISHNESS.IT IS GOOD TO BE HUMBLE IN LIFE AND NOT TO GLORIFY ONESELF,FOR A PERSON's SITUATION COULD CHANGE WITHIN A SECOND.i repeat, with good management of the blackstars, ghana will start reaping the fruits v soon.THE KEY WORD IS GOOD MANAGEMENT AND A TACTICALLY SOUND COACH IF MILO DOES NOT WANT TO STAY.GOD BLESS OUR HOMELAND GHANA....

that will be a big loss for our national team cuz this coach knows exactly wat he is about. he dont go with names but rather with players who are willing to listen to his instruction. dede ayew proved to us that milo is a good coach becuz when milo choosed him ahead of muntari,we all saw the end results. as brother ronny has just said,we conceded a lot of goals inthe past but now we concede less goals with milo. milo pls stay cuz u are the man for the job.

There is nothing soo special about this coach! just a command of respect and discipline in the squard. Aside i don't see any uniqueness of this coach to some of our Ghanaian coaches like Sly Tetteh. We have talented players who determined to go far and play all their heart out. After all, these young squad from the under 20 were selected and groomed by sly tetteh. I think we would have better if this squad were handled by a local coach. we just have the talent that is all. Anyway he has done well but he is not the special one.

I am very sad that MILO will eventually leave. I know those armchair coaches and living room football administrators on this forum (they know themselves) would be happy after all. Now I want to see how these same people would help Ghana to find a better coach foreign or local that would do a better job than MILO did. MILO is leaving behind a legacy! I want sabacious, basic, access and co who have always called for the head of MILO to know that this is the time we need them most so they should get to work. If they don't, then they should forever hold their peace when a new coach is found because I would be the first person to remind them what they did during MILO'S time.

Good point made by Keith,Ronny and others. To succeed in Ghana as a coach,it is sometimes very necessary for a coach to 'close' his ears to lots of the living room coaches.Silence has proven golden for Milo.He is a master tactician whose abilities and philosophies have been looked down upon from day one of his assumption of that job.It will be sad for him to leave, but lets not forget that every rational person seeks progress in life.Financially,he will be better off elsewhere. In terms of results,he could be guaranteed of more successes with GHANA.Lets be forward looking and plan towards the next olympic games and Brazil 2014.With the numerous talents around,we just need the right approach administratively and technically to make it.Milo has paid his due and must be congratulated. The sky is only our springboard.Long live GH football.

i will be very sad if this coach should leave us cos he's the best thing that has happend to our football..which of this local base coaches can do without Essien or Muntari or kick Layea kingston out and make use of this young chaps and still achieve all he did.Am already sad and i hope the GFA can do everything possible to get him back.Am tired of all this arm chair coaches calling for him to be dropped for a local based coaches when none of them have got experience. Please can we look at out local league and tell me how it looks like..how tactical is it?Sellas Teteh is good but not tactical enough to handle the blach stars.Whoever is coming has got a lot to handle cos Milo has raised the standards high and all ghanians can see and has given alot of people room to talk so we can do the same to the next coach. Please can someone tell me which local coach fits the post.Am talking to all the armchair coaches.

BEST COACH IN GHANA'S HISTORY??? lol J Mensah S Inkoom A Annan D Boeteng M Essien S Appiah S Muntari A Ayew M Amoah D Adiyiah Quincy K Asamoah KP Boeteng (The rest of the players are either average or shit) This is the BEST SQUAD GHANA HAVE EVER HAD IN THEIR LONG HISTORY!!! With the teams we played and the squad we have getting to the quarter finals was a minimum requirement wasnt it? Who did Milovan Rajevac ever beat to be called Ghana's greatest coach? Come on. How many team goals did Ghana score? ZERO Did ever see Ghana pass the ball 15-20 times, find an opening in the opponents defence, supply a beautiful cross and finsh? 2 penalties and 3 individual goals. LOOK AT THIS IDIOTS CV!!! LOOK AT THE TEAMS WHO WANT HIM..... QATAR!!!!!! They think that they are stealing "Ghana's Greastest Coach" with their oil money. "We can pay you 3 times more than what Ghana are paying you". If Qatar are in the same group as Japan, S Korea, Austrailia, Saudi Arabia and Iran for qualification for the WC, no hate but they are NEVER QUALIFYING WITH MILO. I could put a million pounds on it. When that fool Milo decides to call it a day he is going to realise that Ghana was the best job he ever had.

i guess he will be living soon becuz he is sick n tired of guys like sabacious, danny alvez, access and maka. this coach has done something no blackstar coach was able to do. he formed a competitive team without essien.here in europe the soccer pundits never expected ghana to get that far,but they said due to the descipline milo brought into the team, ghana has compensated essien loss with team work. in an interview with german captain philip lahm,he said he was not surprise to see ghana n uruguay come that far becuz they played as a team but not individuals.he also went on to say that teams like portugal, france n england relied on their ronaldos, riberys n rooneys but to no avail. milo has done a great job for the blackstars.all the european journalist are aware of his good deeds, but only the living room coaches dont get it.

Which of the local coaches has achieved anything outside of Ghana???? Sellas Tetteh won the U-20, but when he was coaching the Stars, they almost let a 3 goal lead slip against Swaziland, and they were defeated in Gabon. Furthermore, he just signed a contract with the Rwandan FA and he should respect the agreement he signed with them. If our local coaches were good, they would be taking Ghanaian clubs to the group stages of African club competitions. They haven't, but when Milo took a team of local players to CHAN 2009, they got second place. Don't worry about where the coach comes from. Pick the best coach available. I hope that they manage to keep Milo, though. He is the best coach Ghana has ever had. If he is willing to stay, the GFA has the opportunity to provide a level of consistency and stability that no African team has ever seen. We like to fire and hire our coaches too soon. Remember that it took 8-10 years before Spain finally won a championship with their coach.

I think Milovan Rajevac wants either an extension of his contract or an increment in his salary. Please let us not worry about him now but rather, let's focus on getting someone who can speak English and also take us to at least the semi-finals next four years but not only to the one-sixteenth stage. Let him go if he wants to. After all Asamoah Gyan is also not going to be on any Ghanaian line-up without Ghanaians asking him to walk off the pitch whenever Ghana has a penalty.

I sometimes wonder if you use to debate with your dad or trying to lecture or rectify him, maybe you know more than your pastor. Body you dey talk tooooo much, No white coach created or discover a Ghanaian player, all the players were there, and let me tell you players play their heart in tournament because they know big club teams are watching them.Master Milo lack formation,Master i wish Kevin didn`t arrive like you will ask the coach to get fired. Is Kevin who played matured and brilliant game for us,did he trained Kevin? How many days to the WC did Kevin got the national switch? So you need to know that the coach lack alot of things,10 against 11 you are still defending. You guys need to learn too, from african cup to WC Ghana met only mediocre teams an average teams like Burkina,Angola but when ever we meet the better side that are not average we always Lose. It happened against Ivory coast,Agaisn`t Holland,Agains`t Germany. Did the coach win african cup for you?Did he win olympic for you?Did he win WC for you?Man ask yourself how many times your heart panicking beating fast when ever Ghana is playing? The pressure is always on Ghana most of times,It happened agains`t Australia,Germany was marvellous the played with us like kids,USA played fantastic game they missed wonderful chances,Uruguay too missed wonderful chances, you saw diego forlan corners, free kicks and Luis Suarez should have score 2 clear chance, his sliding header when Forlan effected a free kick, and Forlan gave him a nice cross when he placed the ball to the side net.Man Milo just embellish his CV with the already made and determine Ghana players.Man even brazil and Argentina that won their all matches yet still sacked their coaches Dunga and Maradona, ask yourself how many matches did you won?Your first match you won with penalty,2nd match drew with 10men Australia with same penalty what a shame,3rd match you lost, forth match you won with NBA boys, fifth match you lost to a better side we keep going.People who won all their 4 matches with marvelous goals yet still sacked their coaches so why are you telling me Inexperience Milo to stay?Man i don`t know why i am talking too much, check everything about Milo and then come and comment

I understand that a lot of you need to see a BLACK man managing our beloved black stars and I guess a hopeful part of me wishes for that too. But can any of the guys that hate the white man milo show me a local coach that has managed to achieve with the Black stars??? He was able to get the team playing as a team. There have been rave reviews concerning the Black Stars ability to play as a team. We have progressed from our last appearance at the world cup but still a lot of you that visit this site complain. But for the lack of composure of one man we would still be in the competition. I think that all those that wish for him to go due to a blinkered viewpoint on his acheivements need to think to them selves who would have done better. The gfa got lucky with Milo as he was cheap compared to other managers. Would the players that are seniors in the team respect a local coach now they have seen what this foreign coach has done?? Do you all want to go back to the old times of senior players having more control over the running of the team than the manager???? I am sure that when a local coach comes in you will all still complain when the team is not performing as you would want them too. You will want their heads. How would lareya kingston have acted towards a local coach after being dropped from the team, the same??? If we had a local coach that has won an african champions league title then maybe he might be able to do something with the Black Stars.

I don`t blame some of you guys, you don`t know nothing as far as football is concern,I swear God and i will swear again all those soviet Union has no better coach with certified or practical experience.Master, this coaches always run down to africa with their common curriculum Vitae (CV) and eventually make names with us and decorated their CV with us and secure lucrative deals but,ask yourself any white coach that ever made name with Ghana how do they continue or end with their carrier after the left Ghana?Master ,i bet you all of them becomes useless you don`t even hear their names anymore after they left Ghana, ask me or yourself why don`t make name further? The answer is ,it`s because they used already made, determine, die hard, patriotic Ghanaian players who wants to make name for their countries and want to make them for their selves and secre a lucrative deals, this coaches never trained or stimulate any Ghanaian player,so after they make name with Ghana and move forward they stopped progressing because they go to teams or clubs that do not have quality or good players, and the is the main places for them (the white soviet coaches)to show their experience or show the world that they can build a team from zero level to hero level, they always fail because they can`t,ask your self how many club teams in Soviet Union participates in European Champions League? They take parts in decades this show they don`t have good coaches nor good players.Master i am not crying for black, green or blue coaches what i cry for is better coach who can build a team who can create a player,i mean a coach when his teams playing the opponent doesn`t have to breathe because of the pressure that the players mount,Chale when Ghana is playing you will panic most of time because you can`t defend 90minutes in football a mistake will occur eventually,so guys be real and scrutinize things,i am abuser but i do not have time to diss or abuse comment niggas but if someone want to exchange words then i`m ready.

Usman, what you say is fair but i ask you, would it have been better with a local coach????? I do not believe so. The manager may not have played the prettiest football but for you to say that it was all defensive is a little misguided. Inm all the matches that ghabna played, except i agree with you the australia match, ghana made many chances to score. Is it the managers fault that some players lacked composure in the match???? Those same players would have missed regardless of the manager in charge. Also those matches where we were defending stoutly only caused us to concede 4 goals in 5 matches. That is good going in world football. The coach decided that victory would be based on a strong defensive formation and he gave us some victories. I feel that people are being very harsh in their judgement of the manager

Ghana dont any foreigner handling our Black Stars. The Ghanaian is capable of managing their own affairs. If Ghanaians are not, then it will be better for us to appoint another white man to handle the GFA. And perhaps appoint another as the Minister of Sports. Is that not logical? Shameless people! Folks, it is with much sadness that I try to put these few words of mine together, especially after we bowed out of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.SO MILO LEAVE IN PEACE.GHANA HAVE DONE MORE FOR YOU THAN WAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR GHANA.
