Ghana’s talented youth winger Osman Bukari has secured a major move in his career after sealing a bumper deal to join Belgian top-flight side Gent, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 21-year-old signed the contract on Thursday afternoon after passing comprehensive medical tests in the city of Ghent in the East Flanders region of Belgium.

News of the move will be unveiled by the club on Friday afternoon, insiders have told Ghana's leading soccer news outfit Ghanasoccernet.com.

The Ghana U23 star moves from Slovakian top-flight side Trencin after signing a three-year contract with one of the giants of Belgian football.

He signed the deal in the presence of his agent Oliver Koenig after both parties reached an agreement over the terms of the winger’s contract.

The financial details of the transfer were not revealed and the move ends the midfielder’s two-year stay in Slovakia, where he was one of the top players of the Eastern European league.

The transfer ends the intense speculation about his future on Thursday afternoon when he signed the deal with the UEFA Champions League campaigners.

Gent stole the march on several clubs that were interested in signing the youngster with clubs in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France keen on grabbing the talented player.

The winger was in exceptional form for Trencin as their standout player last season he is regarded as one of the best performers in the Slovakia top-flight.

The Ghana U23 international was named among the best players in the Slovak top-flight league last season after winning eight Man-of-the-Match awards in the league.

The winger, who can also play as a ghost striker, featured in 21 matches last seaosn season in Super Liga, playing a total of 1844 minutes.

Bukari scores an average of 0.34 goals for every 90 minutes he's on the pitch.

He joined the Slovak top-flight side in 2018 from Division One side Accra Lions.
