Ghanaian youngster Joseph Paintsil  has completed his move to Turkish top-flight Ankaragucu side in the hunt for playing time, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

The 22-year-old sealed the loan move on Thursday from Belgian giants Genk after days of negotiations between the player and representatives of the Turkish side.

Paintsil passed a medical with Ankaragucu earlier this week  but could on reach an agreement over his personal terms on Thursday.

The SuperLig side have signed the talented attacker on loan until the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.

Paintsil was out of the plans of Genk manager Hannes Wolf for the 2020/2021 season paving way for him to demand a move so he can have more playing time.

Paintsil, who joined the Belgian side in a four million Euro deal, has not had the necessary playing time to impress.

The Ghanaian, who joined with huge promise, has struggled for regular playing time - leaving the decision to part ways with him.

Ankaragücü trainer Fuat Çapa had already been in contact with the Belgian club over season long loan move for the 22-year-old forward.

Paintsil joined Genk in July 2018 from Ghana side Tema Youth FC after a successful loan spell at Hungarian outfit Ferencvàrosi TC.

The Ghana U23 scored just once in the Belgian top-flight last season featuring in 18 games.
