Hans Van der Plyum quits Heart of Lions

Published on: 19 September 2011

Dutchman Hans Van der Plyum has quit Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions, GHANAsoccernet. com can exclusively reveal.

Sources have told GHANAsoccernet the Dutch trainer informed officials of the club after Monday's training session.

Plyum is said to be furious with the poor managerial structure at the club.

He has told the Kpando-based club to look for a new trainer in one-week so he can walk out.

Two weeks ago, Desmond Frimpong-Manso quit as Chief Executive to take up a boardroom post with Premier League side Medeama.

What a time to leave, because the transfer window is shut and a new coach cannot bring in new players.
