Serbian manager Milovan Rajevac has ended the faints of him staying on as Ghana coach by signing a one-year contract in Saudi Arabia, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Ghanasoccernet investigations in Saudi capital Jeddah has revealed that the coach sealed the contract ending doubts over the deal.

The contract signed by the Serbian with Al Ahli Jeddah is for a one year contrary to earlier reports of a three-year deal.

But Rajevac has the option for another year with the giant club, this has been confirmed by local newspaper "Economic".

His first game in charge of the side is next week when they play city rivals Al Ittihad in a crucial league game.

His decision to sign the contract ends any hopes of a last-minute deal for him to continue to coach Ghana.

The Ghana FA had given him until Sunday to sign their proposed four-year contract.

But the West Africans must as well find a new boss for the World Cup quarter finalists since Rajevac's deal has been concluded.

While the Ghana FA has lived by its promise of giving him one week to sign a new contract, he has reneged on his promise of signing a new deal with the country.

Rajevac's decision to sign for the Saudis has also infuriated his manager Goran Milovanovic who has vowed to report the issue to Fifa.

The coach has a running contract with his manager but broke off ranks to travel to Jeddah with British agent Alexander Wallis.
