“I picked a friend at Avenor who I was expecting from London around 9:00pm. He told me he was hungry and I had to buy food for him at Papaye. There the rains started.” he narrated.

“I decided to drive fast to the house before it gets intense. We drove through Achimota towards my residence.

“When we got close to Taifa, the rains became too strong so I decided to park and wait for it to subside.

“Suddenly I heard a car horning consistently and driving toward me. That was when I realised my car was floating like a fish.

“The other driver in his pickup rescued us into his car and drove out of the flood while my car was carried away. We went for it at Mile 7 this morning,” he concluded.

Meanwhile Techiman City takes on WAFA this afternoon at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
