Bristol City and Huddersfield chasing Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris

Published on: 14 January 2022

Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris is a target for two Championship clubs this month.

Bristol City and Huddersfield are chasing the Posh hitman while League One Sunderland are also monitoring his situation.

Clarke-Harris has been in and out of the Peterborough side this season, but he has still scored four goals and provided two assists in 14 starts in the Championship.

Bristol City view former Bristol Rovers man Clarke-Harris as someone who can fire them to safety in the Championship, while Huddersfield want his goals to boost their promotion bid.

Sunderland are long-term admirers of Clarke-Harris and believe his firepower can assist their promotion hopes from League One.

Clarke-Harris was last season’s top scorer with 31 in League One and was named EFL League One Player of the Year, but he could now be set for a move away from London Road.
