Bristol City in danger of losing in-form Adomah to Crystal Palace

Bristol City risk losing Ghana winger Albert Adomah to championship rival Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old has emerged one of the top shortlists to join the Eagles as a replacement for Wilfred Zaha who is increasingly heading for Selhurst Park’s exit.

Adomah has been a star performer in the English Championship this term and has ignited interest in several clubs including Premier League sides.

The ex Barnet player could join his friend Yannick Bolasie at Palace who left at the start of the season.

Britsol City are desperate to keep hold of their exciting winger but could be forced to sell in order to cut their debt stock which has just risen to £41m.

This was after announcing a loss of £14.4m for the financial year ended May 31, 2012.

Swansea showed interest in signing the Ghanaian but fell short of City’s £3m asking price in the summer.

Adomah has been named in the provisional Ghana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
