Bristol City warn Premier League clubs over Adomah

Bristol City have issued a 'hands-off warning' to Premier League clubs keen on signing Albert Adomah next month.

Adomah has been in sensational form this season and has continued to improve under new manager Derek McInnes.

Scouts from numerous Premier League sides have taken notice of him in recent weeks, with Everton and Fulham eager to speak to City about the prospect of signing the 23-year-old.

But McInnes will be backed by his board in January and is under no pressure to sell the Ghana international.

The Bristol City manager, meanwhile, will be given money to spend in January and he will look to sign a striker at Ashton Gate having seen his side score just once in their past three games.
