Ghana defender John Boye produced a solid performance for FC Metz on Wednesday night despite defeat to Paris Saint Germain.

The 33-year-old lasted the entire duration, making 8 clearances, had 28 touches and won three aerial duels.

The experienced defender was in thick affairs that saw him getting bruised after a collision in one of the aerial duels.

Despite his stupendous performance, Metz fell to a late goal to PSG after Julian Draxler netted for the capital side in the 93rd minute.

PSG had Abdou Diallo sent off after 65 minutes at the Parc des Princes, but German midfielder Draxler's 93rd-minute header claimed victory for the 10 men.

Boye has been an integral member of The Maroons, and has featured in all three games this season.
