BUNDES - Bayern Munich rains havoc on Bochum to go top of Bundesliga

With a 7-0 thumping of Bochum on Saturday, Bayern Munich moved to the top of the Bundesliga for the first time this season, with Robert Lewandowski scoring for the 13th straight home league game.

Bayern scored four goals in the first half and three in the second against the newly-promoted side

Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting all scored for Bayern, while Joshua Kimmich scored twice and Lewandowski scored a second-half goal to set a new league record.

At the Allianz Arena, Bochum's Greek defender Vasilios Lampropoulos scored an own goal in the first half.

Bayern Munich has had an incredible start to the season under new coach Julian Nagelsmann, winning four and drawing one of their first five games while scoring a whopping 20 goals.
