Published on: 26 September 2021

FC Ingolstadt will get a new coach. The club is dismissing head coach Roberto Pätzold and sports director Florian Zehe with immediate effect, as the second division has officially stated. André Schubert, the new coach, will steer the Schanzer's fortunes in the future and will conduct his first training session tomorrow, Monday.

After eight-play days, the promoted squad is now 17th in the table with four points and a goal difference of 6:20. It is the fourth coaching change in the second division, following the dismissals of Ole Werner (Holstein Kiel), Stefan Koluvits and Gerhard Kleppinger (SV Sandhausen), and Aleksey Shpileuski (Erzgebirge Aue).
