BUNDES - Jeong on Freiburg clash with Bayern: ''we're in good shape''

Published on: 05 November 2021

On Saturday, the Bundesliga's finest defense confronts the league's greatest offense as unbeaten Freiburg visits league leaders Bayern Munich, and South Korean star Jeong Woo-Yeong plays his former team.

Jeong, 22, started nine of Freiburg's ten league games this season after joining the Bayern Munich academy as a teenager.

"Everyone looks forward to playing against Bayern. Those are always difficult games, of course, but we're in good shape and will try to win," the Korean winger told FCBayern.de.

Freiburg, who are currently in third place, have only surrendered seven league goals this season and are the only team still unbeaten in Germany's top division.

They meet Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, where the Bavarians have scored a Bundesliga-high 38 goals in their first ten games to sit atop the standings.
