Speaking ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash against Benfica, head coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed that they will be without Alphonso Davies and Leon Goretzka.
“Leon is out with a cold and is unable to play,” said Nagelsmann. “With Phonzie [Alphonso Davies] he didn’t suffer a structural injury against Leverkusen but we are going to give him a two or three day break because we have a tight schedule.”
Nagelsmann also suggested that Marcel Sabitzer could start tonight.
