BUNDES - Marco Rose to ensure Haaland and Bellingham stays

Published on: 17 September 2021

Marco Rose, the coach of Borussia Dortmund, has stated that he will do all possible to keep Jude Bellingham and Erling Braut Haaland at the Bundesliga club, despite the fact that the young talents have attracted the interest of Europe's best teams after forming a remarkable duo.

Haaland's contract expires in 2024, a year before Bellingham's, but both are targets for Europe's best teams, prompting Rose to be asked about transfer rumors on several occasions.

"The two boys (Haaland and Bellingham) are currently players with us... anything else is just rumours," said Rose.

"I will do everything to ensure they stay," added Rose, who mused over whether to "tie them down" to new contracts.

Haaland has 66 goals in 66 appearances for Dortmund, but his contract includes a release clause that kicks in next year, allowing him to depart for 75 million euros ($88 million).
