BUNDES - Wolfsburg: Josuha Guilavogui happy to have stayed

In comments collected by SportBuzzer, the French midfielder of Wolfsburg Josuha Guilavogui looks back on this summer, where he almost left.

"There were no concrete offers, but a few clubs were interested. I stayed and I am happy," says Guilavogui today, "Because I play more than last year." He added.

Indeed, Watford, Venice, Dinamo Moscow and clubs from Qatar were interested, but before Guilavogui's rival, Xaver Schlager, did his cruciate ligaments.

The former AS Saint-Étienne player is also happy with his club's start to the season, pointing to 5th place in the Bundesliga, while playing in the Champions League side by side:

"We have started the season very well. We are only three points behind the leader of the championship, so we must not say now: everything is bad, no team has won all of its matches. Of course, we could have gotten more points in the last few games. We must not talk about a crisis now."
