BUNDESLIGA - Sule pushed for Bayern farewell, no more desire

The paths of FC Bayern and Niklas Sule will most likely part ways next summer. The 26-year-old planned to leave the club in 2018. This is reported by 'Spiegel' on the basis of documents that became public through a legal dispute between Süle's advisors.

Karlheinz Forster and Murat Lokurlu argue about the professional relationship with the Bayern professional. Süle denies in an affidavit that he was in business contact with Lokurlu. In November 2018, however, the central defender turned to the 45-year-old businessman to sound out and initiate a move to England.

"Check the offers from England if anyone wants me there," Sule wrote to Lokurlu according to the files that are available to the 'Spiegel'. "If someone says they'll take me away from the big clubs, let me know." Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, but “preferably” Manchester United should be. Lokurlu was instructed by the international to get things moving.

Indeed, according to the report, Chelsea and the Red Devils were fundamentally interested in a deal and a meeting was agreed. However, it was not until October 2019 that Sule dared to make a new attempt and approached Lokurlu again: “Do you know anyone from Tottenham?” A few days earlier, the Munich team had cleared the Spurs 7-2 in the Champions League.
