Presidential candidate for Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has made a mouthwatering promise to Hearts of Oak ahead of their CAF Champions League encounter against Wydad Athletic Casablanca.
Hearts of Oak will be defending the colours of Ghana against the Moroccan giants in the first leg preliminary round of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League on Sunday.
Prior to the much-anticipated clash, 2020 Presidential candidate for Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr Kofi Akpaloo has promised to give each Hearts Of Oak player ¢1,000 and the coach ¢2,000 should they emerge victorious on Sunday.
The match will come off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday October 17, 2021.
The reverse fixture will be played in a weeks' time in Casablanca.
The Phobians last played in the CAF Champions League group stage in 2006.
Hearts of Oak booked their place in the final hurdle of qualification following a 2-0 win against Guinean opponents CI Kamsar last month.
