CAF Champions League: Ivorian officials to officiate Asante Kotoko- Al Hilal clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ivorian referee  Bienvenu Sinko to officiate the CAF Champions League second preliminary round first leg game between Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Al-Hilal Club of Sudan.

The 40-year-old will be assisted by compatriots Koabenan Prosper Adiouman (Assistant I), Nouho Ouattara (Assistant II) and Roland Léonce Danon (Fourth referee).

Sanusi Mohammed from Nigeria will serve as the Match Commissioner. While, Ghana’s Dr. Christiana Baah serves as COVID-19 officer for the match.

The Porcupine Warriors had a bypass in the first preliminary round against Mauritania side FC Nouadibou.

The Ghanaian giants will face a tougher opposition in Al Hilal who are seeking to good a result in Ghana ahead of the return leg.

The first leg comes off on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Accra Sports Stadium and the return leg in Sudan in two weeks' time.
